This course provides an in-depth understanding of FHA 203(k) loans, which allow homebuyers to finance both the purchase and renovation of a property through a single loan. Participants will explore the different types of 203(k) loans, qualification requirements, the home rehab process, and key benefits and challenges. The course will also cover FHA loan limits, insurance requirements, and the role of HUD consultants in overseeing home renovations.

2.     Differentiate between the Standard 203(k) Loan and the Limited 203(k) Loan.

3.     Understand the eligibility requirements and qualification process for a 203(k) loan.

4.     Describe the home rehabilitation process from loan application to project completion.

5.     Recognize the benefits and challenges of using a 203(k) loan.

6.     Explain the role of FHA insurance and loan limits.

7.     Identify the responsibilities of HUD consultants in the loan and rehab process.

About The Instructor
Quality driven and highly motivated self-starter with 14 years of mechanical manufacturing and service experience. A proactive leader with a background in troubleshooting, planning, initiating and completing job tasks. Extremely safety conscious and attentive to all surrounding environmental conditions. Thrive in group and individual tasks assigned. Began TREC approved, Professional Real Estate Inspector Training through ATI in August 2020. Completed ATI training in November 2020. While training, I was undergoing training through a sponsorship in the I-Go community to become the companies General Manager. I facilitate monthly employee meetings, Employee Reviews, Inspector Field Training and ancillary services. I tested and passed both the National and Texas portions of the Real Estate Inspector exam for my TREC Professional Real Estate Inspector license in December of 2020 and filed my application in January of 2021.
